I have finally finished Monoline Calligraphy Workbook. This includes all the information regarding – how to hold the pen, what paper is to be used etc. This is an intensive 70 pages practice book with one letter on each page, comprises of both lowercase letters & uppercase letters. It has to be used with Speedball B5 Nib with Straight Holder. All the instructions for the formation of every individual letter is present. Apart from that, blank layouts are attached at the end for further practice. I hope you enjoy writing with this nib as much as I do. I really enjoy the look of this set. Each letter is shown with overall stroke order on a single page and there is plenty of room to drill and practice it. I am a little disappointed there was no break down of the foundation strokes for these letters. I find breaking them apart for practice greatly improves my consistency. I can break them apart myself, but I’m greatly interested in how the creating artist sees these letters coming together. That said, it’s a lovely style and I’m greatly enjoying the worksheets.
