Hello Everyone,
This is Abhay from IG – @abhaycalligraphy and I’ve finally completed this much awaited workbook. This workbook is suitable for those who want to start learning calligraphy with a broad edge tool. These Blackletter Textura sheets are made to be used specifically with Pilot parallel Pen 3.8mm or Cut nib of the same size or Automatic calligraphy pen of same size.
Features of this Workbook:
– Each letter is present on separate page, so if you want to practice a specific letter you can take it’s print directly.
– Each letter is made on Grid sheet which makes it much easier to maintain the angle.
– Skeleton stroke which will be present besides every letter helps in understanding the formation of the letter in a very clear and understanding manner.
– Arrows will help you in making step by step letter formation.
– Blank Grid with slant lines are present at the back of the workbook.
– Since this is an e-book you can take as many prints as you want.
– Numerals and symbols are also present.
– Blank Composition Sheet also present.
How to use this Workbook?
– This is an e-workbook, so ‘download pdf’ option will appear post purchase.
– You need to use it with Pilot Parallel Pen of 3.8mm size or any broad edge tool of same size.
– Take prints of this on an A4 size sheet, if the ink bleeds on normal paper (70-80GSM) try using a bit thick paper (120-200GSM)
– The Slant lines will help you in maintaining the angle.
– Take multiple prints of warm-up exercise sheet and just do that in the beginning.
– You can use Ecoline Inks with Pilot Parallel Pen (You can watch the refilling video from my YouTube Channel).
– Keep Practicing for atleast 30-40 minutes daily.
– For any other queries you can drop mail at abhay.calligraphy@gmail.com
I hope you enjoy try writing on these as much as I did creating them.
Please let me know your opinions.
Happy Writing!
Thanks,
Abhay

Nancy Smith –
Just beginning to learn calligraphy! These look perfect for me, and the way I learn things. I am hoping for more “hands” (Rotunda, Uncial, Italic, etc.) in the future. Thanks for this valuable resource.
Andrea –
I’ve been enjoying these sheets so far. My only suggestion would be to provide a download formatted to letter paper as an option.
